ANTHONY T. SMITH
Founding Partner
“I enjoy representing homeowners associations because they have such a wide range of legal needs. Whether I’m helping my clients interpret, revise, or enforce their governing documents or representing them in litigation, I know that every day will bring exciting challenges. As both a trial lawyer and a business/transactional lawyer, I bring real value to my clients by helping them understand the big picture associated with their legal issues and giving them practical advice and guidance regarding the same.”
Anthony (“Tony”) T. Smith has been representing property owners for most of his career. Tony’s practice focuses on the diverse legal needs of common interest communities. He regularly advises condominium and townhome associations on all aspects of operation, management, governance, and litigation, including:

- Rule enforcement;
- Compliance with applicable state and federal laws (MCIOA, Minnesota Nonprofit Corporations Act, Fair Housing Act, Minnesota Human Rights Act, etc.);
- Homeowner dispute resolution;
- Collections;
- Contract review and negotiation;
