Kiana began her legal career at a firm in Dallas, Texas while completing her bachelor’s degree in English at Millsaps College. Her interest in the intersection of law and lived experience was strengthened during her time working under Mississippi House Representative Zakiya Summers. In this position, she researched policy initiatives, gaining a firsthand perspective on how legal decisions directly affect communities. Building on this experience, she relocated to Minnesota to continue her legal career at a St. Paul based firm dedicated to school and employment law.

With experience spanning a range of legal environments, Kiana brings adaptability, efficiency, and a strong attention to detail to her work. She values continuous learning and takes pride in providing attorneys and clients alike with proactive, reliable support.

Outside of the office, Kiana is an avid reader who also enjoys playing tennis and trail running.
