TYLER “TY” EBERT
Attorney
“I aim to be thought of as someone who has his priorities in order and, when things go wrong, does the next right thing. My priorities include my client’s peace of mind.”
Ty represents homeowners’ associations, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. His practice emphasizes good governance, strong management, and practical conflict resolution in community association space, and he advocates actively at the state, county, and municipal levels on behalf of the industry.
Before law school, Ty built a contracting business into a seven-figure operation before losing that venture during the COVID-19 pandemic. He launched and exited a second business before returning to law school with a clear purpose: to help others stage successful comebacks of their own. His personal history in business, combined with deep experience in community law and the realities of running a small-to-medium-sized business, gives him practical insight into the legal, financial, and human challenges facing his clients.
He practices in the following areas:
- Community Association Law / Common Interest Community (CIC) Law
- Homeowners’ Association Representation
- Real Estate & Property Law
- Land Use, Zoning, Property Tax, and Government Relationships
- Government Affairs and Advocacy
- Bankruptcy and Financial Reorganization
- Creditor and Debtor Rights
- Business Formation, Restructuring, and Wind-Down
- Resort, Hospitality, and Timeshare Matters
Outside of work, Ty splits his spare time between woodworking and cycling—never both at once.
