Christopher M. Drake’s primary focus is assisting clients through the insurance claims process. These insurance claims often involve business interruption, loss of personal property, and damage to property, stemming from fire, hail/wind, and water losses.  Christopher assists his clients with all aspects of the claim-handling process and focuses on ensuring that the insurance carrier both conducts itself in accordance with the law of the state in which the claims arise and pays what is owed under the policy. Christopher spent the first part of his career working for a number of insurance carriers, and this background makes him uniquely suited to serve policyholders.

Christopher has experience representing a wide variety of clients from HOAs to banking institutions, product suppliers, manufacturers, and construction professionals, including architects, engineers, and contractors. He has successfully handled cases involving personal injury, warranty disputes, contract claims, claims for lost profit or business interruption, insurance coverage issues, construction defects, professional liability, claims against Directors and Officers, and other general litigation matters all the way through jury trial and any subsequent appeals.

He is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Minnesota, including the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Colorado and Minnesota.  Early in his career, Christopher practiced law with a particular focus on insurance fraud and no-fault arbitration. This previous insurance industry and litigation experience provides the foundation to better understand clients’ businesses and to offer additional insight to ensure a favorable outcome.

In his spare time, Christopher enjoys spending time with his “phamily,” chasing trout, and playing golf.
